Frequently Asked Questions

About Rezilient

What are the key parts of Rezilient’s care delivery model?

Value Based Advanced Primary Care

Same day access to primary and urgent care, with all doctors available across all channels to enable patients to establish a long-term relationship with their Rezilient doctor.

Multispeciality Care

Same day consults across 73 specialties to decrease the time to diagnosis and treatment. Avoid unnecessary referrals that increase healthcare costs without improving outcomes.

Care Coordination

If a patient needs care outside Rezilient, their Care Coordinator will use their deep understanding of their benefits design to schedule care with the highest quality, lowest cost provider in the network.

Who pays for Rezilient?

Employers pay a simple, predictable monthly fee based on the number of eligible employees and dependents.

What happens if some or all employees are outside areas where they can get to a CloudClinic?

We have several options available for entire groups or remote employees who are not within easy driving distance of a CloudClinic. Our virtual primary care benefit gives them access to at-home telehealth and 24/7 messaging, plus care coordination to ensure they are navigated to in-network providers.

We're also building new CloudClinics across the country in 2025 and 2026. Get in touch to find out more.

Why don’t you have regular doctors offices with in-person doctors?

Our doctors are beamed into our CloudClinics where our medics become their hands using connected digital devices, which means every doctor is available at every CloudClinic.

The uncoupling of the doctor from the real estate to integrate virtual and physical care dramatically improves access and patient outcomes. We can bring our entire team to smaller towns and areas that may have limited access to primary care far quicker than traditional models that rely on recruiting and often relocating in-person doctors.

What does it cost for eligible employees to see a Rezilient doctor?

Nothing.

Rezilient is provided as a $0 out of pocket benefit to employees and their dependents 7 years and older who are covered on the employer’s health plan. This includes $0 copay for their visit, $0 deductible, and $0 for any services provided as part of their visit (lab collection, point of care testing, strep tests, COVID tests, etc.)

What if someone doesn't want to leave their doctor?

We understand and respect that people have a relationship with other providers and we'll never ask them to leave their current doctor if they're happy with them.

However, because Rezilient is $0 out-of-pocket to patients we do recommend completing a visit with us to establish a baseline in case their needs change or if they need urgent care.

What specialties are included in a Rezilient Primary Care benefit?

Patients get access to consultations across 70 different specialties, including but not limited to: cardiology, dermatology, urology, ENT, and gastroenterology.

What happens if a patient needs to see a provider outside of Rezilient Primary Care?

If a patient requires a referral to a provider outside of Rezilient, their Care Coordination team will work with the patient’s health plan to provide a referral to an in-network provider. This means the patient is navigated to high-quality care and the cost containment mechanisms of the health plan are maximized.

Are labs and imaging covered by a Rezilient Primary Care benefit?

Rezilient can draw labs at any CloudClinic appointment at no cost to the patient, which will then be processed at an off-site facility. Depending on the guidelines set by the patient's insurance network, they may need to cover an additional balance. If an imaging order is placed, the patient's Care Coordination team will work with their health plan design to provide a referral to an in-network imaging facility.

Are medications prescribed by a Rezilient provider free?

In some cases, we do administer medications at the time of an appointment. Any medication that is administered at a Rezilient appointment will be at no cost to the patient. Rezilient will always ensure we are prescribing the most cost effective medications as outlined in the pharmacy benefits through your health plan network.

Is Rezilient insurance?

No. Patients are still covered by their insurance plan, while Rezilient gives them access to comprehensive healthcare at no cost to them.

Then why do you need a patient's insurance card?

Then why do you need a patient's insurance card?

We need a patient's insurance information for a couple of reasons: to order medication from their pharmacy; if we need to refer outside of Rezilient, some providers need to make sure they're in-network before they make an appointment; and to process the labs that we draw on-site so they don’t get billed a cash pay amount.

How is Rezilient Primary Care different from other direct primary care?
  • - Patients spend more time with their physician, ensuring that they are listened to and that all their concerns are addressed.
  • - Patients can easily book same-day and next-day appointments. No more waiting weeks to see a doctor.
  • - Patients have 24/7 access to their Care Team, who help them book appointments, order medication, schedule referrals, and anything else they need.
  • - Since patients connect with their doctor digitally, they’re available at every CloudClinic, where our on-site medic assists by performing physical exams on their behalf or collecting any labs or imaging they need.
  • - When a Rezilient doctor examines a patient, they get to see what they doctor sees in real time via our digital clinical tools.
What’s the difference between going to a CloudClinic and telehealth?

In a CloudClinic appointment, our medics will take vitals and launch the appointment with the patient's remote primary care physician on the CloudClinic's large screen. They'll assist the physician during the appointment, take labs, and send off the patient’s scripts.

In a telehealth appointment, patients can be in whatever location is convenient for them. They log in to the Rezilient app on their device and the appointment will take place entirely by video.

Can patients go to any CloudClinic?

Yes: because all our providers are remote, every doctor is available at every CloudClinic so patients can choose the one that’s most convenient for them.

What is Rezilient’s philosophy toward medical care?

Our purpose is to help our patients improve their health by eliminating the financial and access barriers to healthcare. Rezilient prioritizes same-day access to primary, urgent, and specialty care, and our success is based on achieving value for employers and excellent clinical outcomes for patients, rather than on volume like the traditional fee-for-service models.

We provide a safe, inclusive space that’s free from judgment to talk about physical and mental health regardless of a patient's gender identity, ethnicity, age, or sexuality.

Above all, we treat people as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms. We take all aspects of their health and lifestyle into consideration and care for them holistically. We provide the best preventative medicine, acute care, and chronic condition management through our board-certified medical professionals and our focus on bringing you the most comprehensive, quality healthcare.

Rezilient's Services

Advanced Primary Care

Rezilient provides comprehensive advanced primary care, which is the medical care needed before a patient might need to see a specialist or go to a hospital combined with hands-on care coordination.

As primary care providers, Rezilient will address patients' essential health needs by: focusing on prevention and screening; working with patients to plan for their optimum health; being a secure, comprehensive and accurate place for medical records; coordinating tests, treatments, specialist visits and hospitalizations; providing empathetic, plain-spoken advice; leveraging the latest medical research and technology to get or keep our patients healthy.

Multispecialty Care

Rezilient provides multispecialty care in two ways: with consults as part of primary care that aim to better refer patients to in-person specialists in their health plan; and focused Rezilient Multispecialty Care that delivers specialty care under the same roof as Rezilient primary care.

As of 4/1/25, we offer the following Rezilient specialty programs to patients within range of a CloudClinic:

  • Musculoskeletal Health
  • Weight Loss

The following specialties will be launching soon:

  • Women’s Health
  • Mental Health
  • Digestive Health

Rezilient Multispecialty Care delivers better health outcomes and a dramatically simpler experience for both employers and employees by unifying the entire healthcare journey under one roof.

Musculoskeletal Health

Rezilient Musculoskeletal Health is a targeted specialty program that combines our in-person CloudClinics with our remote specialists for the expert care people need to move without pain again, without the long wait that comes with traditional specialists.

Our innovative digital MSK health platform reduces absenteeism and unnecessary and often costly medical interventions, such as imaging, opioids, and surgery.

Weight Loss

GLP-1 medications have gained attention for their effectiveness in weight loss, and employers are weighing the best approach for coverage.

Rezilient Weight Loss maximizes the effectiveness of GLP-1s over the long term by balancing the science with the art of behavioral change. With personalized nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle change plans, we help create healthier behaviors that last.

Women’s Health

Women face a special set of health needs. Our primary care physicians are trained in many areas of women's health and can offer guidance and counseling on birth control, breast cancer screening and menopause. We work closely with many of the best OB/GYN specialists in the area, should a patient need a referral.

Launching soon: Rezilient Women’s Health specialty program. Get more info.

Mental Health

Mental health and physical health are intertwined, and our primary care physicians can help patients with things like trouble sleeping to work stress to anxiety to depression.

However, if a patient needs dedicated mental health care, our Care Coordinators will help navigate patients to an in-network specialist mental health provider.

Launching soon: Rezilient Mental Health specialty program. Get more info.

Urgent Care

Our primary care providers can address a wide range of urgent and acute concerns. Because we offer same-day appointments and 24/7 virtual appointments, we're a great option for urgent needs.

Lab tests

Rezilient offers our patients on-site lab services at any of our CloudClinics. Our staff will draw blood and collect other specimens in an anxiety-free, private environment. Our physicians will order the specific tests needed based on age, overall health and health history, and the amount of time since the patient's last set of tests.

Note: Insurance plans vary, and coverage depends on the specific policy. While most tests are covered by insurance, we will contact insurance providers to confirm costs at the request of a patient.
